Hmong National Development

 

Hmong National Development, Inc. (HND) is a national, 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization operating as a subsidiary of HAP. Founded in 1993, HND is the leading national policy advocacy organization for the Hmong American community. For the past 20 years we have provided local Hmong non-profits with capacity building and technical assistance tools, advocated in D.C. for legislation which impacts our community, cultivated leadership in youth through our D.C. internship programs and local youth empowerment programming models, and most notably are recognized for our exemplary Hmong National Development Conference.

 

 

 

 

HAP Transportation, LLC

 

A social enterprise bus company offering transportation services to Twin Cities based schools and businesses.  We own a fleet of 70 buses and employ over 50 drivers and operators. HAP Transportation, LLC supports our mission by providing work experience and  training opportunities for clients enrolled in our Employment Programs. Further, modest profits from the company are cycled back into the organization and help cover operating expenses for our education and social programs.
